Viral Video Advert

This video was made by myself and a couple of my WhatTalent friends for the Mornflake Video Competition.

I produced it and wrote the script. Simon Beckett (aka Mother's Laundry Service) came up with the original concept and directed, shot and edited the film. Jeff Nicholson plays the farmer.

We didn't win, but hey, it's the taking part that counts.

...and I thik the results aren't bad considering the £10 budget... which all went on Mornflake cereal... which, incidentally, is LOVELY!

New York Underground

I wrote this song nearly ten years ago whilst at Uni... Not written anything of note since, but have still wheeled out this ditty at the odd house party or BBQ over the years... This is a less than sober effort back in 06 at one of my own shindigs...

Lost Without a Reason - Music-Promo

This was my second attempt at a music video and though there's much I would have liked to improve about it, I was (and still am) pretty pleased with the result, particularly seeing as it was made with a budget of exactly zero pounds!

The artist is a rapper friend of mine called Micah Lei and the video is a dusk till dawn journey through the night he decided not to sell out and accept a dodgy record contract. It's all about keeping it real blud...

My involvement was predominantly as Director/Producer, but I also had a hand in developing the storyline and I drafted in my good friend Darren Sher to do all the camerawork and editing. Cheers Darren. Hope we can collaborate again in the future. We make an awesome team!

This is a real oldie back in the day when I used to tread the boards!

Serenading my Sister

This picture was taken by the supremely talented photographer Chloe Pearson at my sister's wedding last autumn. I'm playing one of Sarah's favourite songs: Natural Beauty

I love playing guitar and singing. Not sure OTHER people do though...!

This picture is of my playing some Neil Young at a mates stag-party...

End of the Line

I helped out on producing this promo video in a number of ways: I helped source the cast, costumes and some of the crew and even got the sticky-tape and helped build a pirate ship costume worn by one of the freaks who inhabit the weird world of Mohair's End of the Line...

Hump-de-bump

Cut this little video together whilst filming backstage at Mohairs first stadium gig in Aarhus, Denmark. They might have been supporting Depeche Mode at the gig... but it was Hump-de-Bump by the Red Hot Chilli Peppers that got everyone up the gig... Nonsense, but fun!

Live and Let Live

This is my first attempt at a music video. I followed the fantastic Mohair around on a tour and cut this video from the reels of footage. Rather annoyingly YouTube hates my DV Express codec so the audios all out of sync. Any tips how I can stop this happening?

Back in 2003 before I dreamt up WhatTalent I was forging a career in television. This picture is of me dressed as a Footman on C4's Regency House Party, a kind of Reality-TV social experiment where 15 people lived and loved like aristocrats 24hrs a day for three months.

Though employed as a Runner, my job was basically to serve the guests as Footman. This involved doing things as varied as dressing my Gentleman in the morning, shaving him and emptying his chamer-pot... yes his CHAMBERPOT... to serving luncheon, afternoon tea and even accompanying the Gentlemen on hunting trips with Falcons. I was also required to undertake more 21st Century production work such as costume preparation or being miked up at the country fair or sports days to provide running commentary to production staff on where the best action was to be shot.
