In addition to his acting career John is also a successful close up magician, with several residencies, weddings and corporate events behind him. Specialising in card tricks, John also works his sleight of hand with
sponge balls and coins.
Acting Experience
Roles as Austin in ‘True West’ and work as understudy for the Bill Kenwright productions of ‘Festen’ and ‘The Hollow’ have been capped by playing the lead role of Jake in ‘Breakfast with Jonny Wilkinson’. This was the acclaimed Menier Chocolate Factory’s production performed at the 2006 Edinburgh Fringe. He has already augmented this theatre work with video and film, and just recently has done a number of adverts for both Nokia and Hellmanns Mayonnaise.
