MissMaz
- 'Talented' Social Networker; blogger; writer, social media analystAbout me
Such is the nature of these 'about me' profiles, that as you, dear reader, are reading this much of the content will be going out of date! But stick around it does provide a good snapshot of who I am 'now'.
At present I'm writing, writing, writing; for various blogs: From my own: The acclaimed, and ShinyRed nominated, Facebooketiquette. To, a contributor for: GirlGeekdom and Assignment Zero News.
My other woks (in progress) of genius are my doctorate for completion later this year and a book on social networking. For everything you wanted to know, but could not Google, and reveals some of the etiquettes of web 2.0 and Facebook. On shelves soon!
My main interest is in digital social media or rather the new ‘new’ media of the latest buzz-word phrase ‘Web 2.0’.
Basically if its techie, gadgetry and geeky I’m there! And hence I'm 'here'.
You can classify me as a social analyst who is at the forefront of what is emerging as a newly digitally connected culture. A culture I have chosen to frame as the 'pivotality' of shared social media in everyday life.

New rules for surviving the digitally connected world
To introduce my expertise about social networking, read my facebooketiquette blog: Practising a Proper Social Demeanour: A Guide To Facebook Etiquette.
The blog is more tongue and cheek than a 'formal' quest for knowledge and should be treated as such.
With this in mind and in the spirit of Web 2.0 feel free to get in touch and the etiquette issues on your mind, as I would love to incorporate these!

Miss Maz,
Shame you couldn't make the brainstorm. Damn trains. All it takes is one cm of snow to bring GNR down eh! It was a fun sesh you missed, but take it you're still available for May 18th. Got a really limited guestlist, but thought you might want to invite a talented friend/significant other, so have a think about who you want to bring along.
Also let me know when you're in London. Feel like a little catch-up and chewing over of Web 2.0 cud, is well overdue and I want to hear about how everythings going in Mazland.
Goodbye for now my dear.
